Built Different
Community. Service. Referrals.
When Brittney and Drew Frietch talk about BF Realty, they talk about people first.
Brittney’s journey from real estate agent to team lead to broker ultimately led the Frietch family to open an independent, family-owned boutique brokerage. The goal was simple: create a real estate company with the freedom to serve people personally, without corporate quotas, red tape, or one-size-fits-all policies being handed down from a headquarters far removed from the communities they serve.
“We wanted the freedom to do what was right for each client,” Brittney said. “To keep it personal, serve people exceptionally well, and build something rooted right here in our community. That’s what being independent gives us. The ability to put people first, every single time.”
For the Frietchs, staying boutique has always been intentional. Growth would never come at the expense of the personal service that built the business.
“We never wanted anyone to feel like just another transaction,” Brittney said. “Every client, every family, and every situation is different. Our service should reflect that.”
That philosophy has shaped BF Realty from the beginning. The brokerage was designed to offer highly customized, white-glove service while maintaining the warmth and accessibility of a family business. Marketing, communication, strategy, and guidance can be tailored to the individual client rather than dictated by a national corporate model.
The relationship does not end when the keys change hands, either.
“Our clients really do become family,” Brittney said. “We get to walk through some of the biggest moments of their lives with them. Then years later, they call us again. They send their children, their parents, their friends, or their neighbors to us. Those relationships mean far more to us than a transaction ever could.”
That same philosophy has shaped how BF Realty has grown.
The company has never purchased an internet lead. It has never built its business by buying consumer information or depending on online lead providers to deliver the next client. Instead, its growth has come organically through repeat clients, referrals, relationships, and word of mouth.
“We believe the best way to grow is to take exceptional care of people,” Drew said. “Do a great job. Be there when people need you. Treat them the way you would want your own family treated. That has always made more sense to us than buying a name and phone number off the internet.”
Rather than pouring resources into purchased leads, the Frietch family has chosen to invest closer to home. That means investing in BF Realty’s agents, supporting local schools and organizations, showing up for community events, and giving back to the places and causes that matter to the families they serve.
For Brittney and Drew, that distinction matters.
“Every referral is someone trusting us with someone they care about,” Brittney said. “We never take that lightly. Word of mouth has always been our bread and butter, but behind every referral is a person saying, ‘I trust you.’ That carries a responsibility.”
BF Realty has grown significantly since opening its doors, but the Frietchs say the goal is not to become the biggest brokerage. The goal is to protect what made the business special enough to grow in the first place.
“We want to grow without losing the personal part,” Brittney said. “You can provide exceptional service and achieve big results while still knowing your clients, knowing your agents, answering the phone, and being part of the community you serve.”
Faith, family, and community remain at the center of that philosophy. BF Realty is family-owned and operated, and for the Frietchs, business and community have never existed in separate worlds. The same place where they built their company is where they raised their family, formed relationships, supported schools and organizations, and planted their roots.
Reaching $500 million in career sales is a milestone worth celebrating, but for Brittney and Drew, the number represents something much more personal. It represents thousands of families, countless referrals, years of relationships, and a community that continued to share their name.
“We grew the old-fashioned way,” Drew said. “And we wouldn’t change that.”
For the Frietch family, the formula moving forward remains remarkably simple: take care of people, provide an exceptional experience, stay true to the values the company was founded on, and trust that good work will continue to travel by word of mouth.
